A premier hospitality group is preparing to launch a new flagship hotel in early 2026
Premier hospitality group requires end-to-end IT infrastructure design and deployment to meet modern hospitality standards. The objective was to create a future-proof, secure technology environment capable of supporting 24/7 operations, seamless integration with core hospitality management systems, and full compliance with UK data protection and security regulations. Colva Tech partnered with our client to design, deliver and operationalise an IT estate that ensures day-one readiness and a premium guest experience.
The Colva Tech Solution
Colva Tech delivered a fully scoped IT infrastructure design, covering networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud services. Full project management and deployment were executed in line with brand standards and construction schedules, ensuring no misalignment between technology and build phases. A layered cybersecurity architecture was implemented to protect guest and operational data, while core hospitality systems including reservations, POS, and back-office platforms were integrated seamlessly and tested as part of a unified environment. Automated monitoring and patching were introduced to support proactive performance management, and a future-ready managed service model including a 24/7/365 UK Service Desk was established to support operations post-launch. This approach ensured the hotel would open with a secure, scalable, and high-performing IT environment.
The commercial challenge
Our client faced the complex task of designing and implementing a robust IT infrastructure alongside an active construction programme, with strict timelines tied to build milestones. The solution needed to support business-critical hospitality applications, provide secure, resilient connectivity, and enable proactive monitoring to prevent downtime and mitigate operational risk from day one. Compliance with GDPR and industry security standards was non-negotiable, while ensuring scalability for future technology initiatives remained a priority. Delivering all of this ahead of a high-profile opening required meticulous planning, coordination and execution.
The outcome
The project remains on track for early 2026 completion, with major delivery milestones already achieved. The IT infrastructure has been designed, deployed and validated ahead of operational readiness, and close coordination with construction teams has ensured critical deadlines are met. Compliance and security frameworks are in place to satisfy GDPR and industry standards, while a structured operational readiness plan is in place for go-live, including staff onboarding, system testing and handover to managed services. These measures position the hotel for a successful launch and long-term technology resilience.
